Alert Event Control of the situation on Channel 1, but do not provide the child’s name etc. over radio. The child’s personal details should be communicated over the phone.
Event Control will advise you of the nearest point of collection to your location.
Remain with the child until guardians collect them. Ensure you gather contact details from the guardian upon their arrival and that the child is content, they know them. Alert Event Control on Channel 1 when this has happened.
Child Lost:
If a guardian approaches you advising they have lost a child, take their details and the child’s details (name, age, description, time and location they were last seen).
Alert Event Control of the situation on Channel 1. Do not share personal details of the missing child over the radio. Communicate details of the child over the phone with Event Control.
