Comedy at The Well Lineup Announced

Ireland’s comedy scene descends on Curraghmore this August Bank Holiday, with a lineup spanning household names, festival favourites and some of the sharpest new voices in Irish comedy right now. 

Leading the charge is Kilkenny's Mike Rice, fresh off his sold-out UK & Ireland tour. He's joined by Emma Doran, whose brutally honest takes on marriage and motherhood have made her one of the country's best-loved comics Also on the bill is Tony Cantwell, the man behind viral phenomenon Ploon and the "Soft Drink" sketch, fresh from a sold-out Vicar Street show. Aoife Dunne, the Galway comedian, poet and storyteller brings her hit debut show Good Grief, which sold out venues from Dublin to New York. Expect razor-sharp wit and real heart. Catherine Bohart, the sharp-tongued stand-up and TV favourite known for Live at the Apollo, has critically acclaimed solo shows that have sold out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival year after year. And Peter McGann, the online sensation turned touring headliner whose sketches have racked up millions of views. Also on the bill are The Wild Geeze Comedy Cabaret, guaranteed to bring the party. 

Rounding out the bill are Meg Reilly, Ross McCarney, Simon Hennessey, Anna Clifford, Richie Bree, Martin Angolo, Aideen McQueen, Ryan Carrick, Paddy McDonnell and Sadbh McLoughlin - a proper crew of Ireland's best up-and-coming and established stand-ups, keeping the laughs going from Friday right through to Sunday night.
